GENERAL

Product: Sausage and Kebab Cooker

Model: B-014

Ensure to read the entire instruction manual before using the BBQ sausage and kebab cooker to ensure safe and proper operation.

Compatibility

Suitable for 4 - 6 burner square BBQs with grill plate

Minimum cooking area required: 445mm x 295mm

Not compatible with oval shaped BBQs.

Sausage Cooker Setup

  • Refer to FIG3 in the diagram for setting up the sausage cooker using rollers.
  • Place the sausage cooker on top of your BBQ grill plate.

Positioning

  • Ensure that the motor is positioned at least 5cm away from the heat source.
  • If your BBQ has vents at the front, make sure the motor is not placed over the vents.
  • Do not close the BBQ lid on the product under any circumstances.

Motor Operation

  • As seen in FIG2 Insert the pin into the motor and then insert into the gear panel.
  • Rotate the motor clockwise to lock into the slots and secure into position.

Sausage Placement

  • Place the sausages between the rollers for cooking. 
  • If the heat is too high, the skin on the sausages will burst and may cause flare ups.

Sausage Heat Adjustment

  • Turn on 2 burners to a low flame height position.
  • BBQs vary, so start with a low heat setting for cooking sausages.
  • Turn on the motor so the rollers beginning turning.
  • If the heat is too low, gradually increase it until you find the correct temperature.
  • Adjust the heat accordingly to prevent sausage skin from bursting and flare ups.
  • Higher heat may make the product harder to clean after use.

KEBAB COOKER SETUP

  • Place the cooker on top of your BBQ grill plate.
  • Refer to Fig 4 in the diagram for setting up the sausage cooker for cooking kebabs.
  • Insert the end without the grooves into the gear panel at the front of the unit.
  • The grooves hold the kebab skewers in place at the back end of the unit.

Kebab Preparation

  • Cut the food into roughly 2.5cm squares. You can cook up to 7 kebabs at a time with this size.
  • If the food size is larger, you can only cook 4 kebabs at a time, using every 2nd drive slot. The same applies when cooking chicken wings.
  • Note: If the food size is too big, the skewers may bump into each other and fall out of the holders at the back of the unit.

Kebab Heat Adjustment

  • Turn on 2 burners to a low flame height position.
  • Adjust the flame height until you find a suitable setting for your BBQ.
  • Turn on the motor so the skewers start turning.

Handling Kebabs

  • It is recommended to use tongs to remove kebabs from the cooker.
  • When removing kebabs, remove the frame from the heat and turn off the motor.

Removable Handles

  • The product comes with removable handles for removing the frame while it is hot.
  • Do not leave handles on when cooking.

Cleaning Instructions

  • Clean the Sausage and Kebab Cooker using warm soapy water and a cloth to wipe clean.
  • It is recommended to clean the cooker while it is still warm from cooking.
  • Do not submerge the frame of the sausage cooker in water. Only wipe it clean with a cloth.

Charcoal BBQ Use

When using the cooker on charcoal BBQs , do not place charcoal within 75mm of the motor side panel .
